Abstract

A familiar yet scientifically perplexing substance, water lies at the heart of today’s major challenges: the environment, access to drinking water, and energy. This lecture will explore how basic research on water as a material can pave the way for breakthrough innovations and their transition from the laboratory to the real world.

Lydéric Bocquet

He was a visiting professor holding the Technological Innovation Liliane Bettencourt Annual Chair in 2022–2023 and will assume the statutory Chair in Fluids and Energy at the Collège de France effective October 1st, 2026.
