Cnam and Collège de France have strikingly similar Latin mottos : respectively Docet omnes " on y enseigne à tous ", and Docet omnia " on y enseigne toutes choses ". This proximity reflects their raison d'être : not only to produce knowledge, but to share it with as many people as possible, with a view to emancipation and progress.
In 2026, the Cnam and the Collège de France will be joining forces to, if not teach all things to all people, at least question some of today's major issues through a series of encounters. A professor from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and a professor from the Collège de France share their Spotlights on a jointly-chosen theme, confronting their points of view, and proposing food for thought in response to our contemporary questions, in a fruitful dialogue.
The lecture series will be moderated by Alexandra Delbot, producer at France Culture.
It will be held at the Cnam, 292 rue Saint-Martin - 75003 Paris. Free admission on registration with the Cnam.
With the support of Pour la Sciencemagazine and Télérama Sorties.
