    Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy of Science and Technology at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a member of the Académie des technologies. Her books include Paul Langevin. Science et vigilance (Belin, 1987) and Paul Langevin, propos d'un physicien engagé. Pour mettre la science au service de tous (Vuibert, 2007).
