Patrizia Lombardo is Professor Emeritus of Cinema and French and Comparative Literature at the University of Geneva, where she heads a research project at the Centre interfacultaire en sciences affectives. She works on theories of emotion, thought experiments and film aesthetics. She is a regular contributor to Critique magazine.
