Julia Kristeva is professor emeritus at Paris-Diderot University, psychoanalyst and writer. From the late 1960s, she contributed to the journal Tel Quel, publishing Sèméiôtikè. Recherches pour une sémanalyse (1969). Since then, she has written a trilogy devoted to the Génie féminin (1999-2003) and, in 2015, Du mariage considéré comme un des beaux-arts, with Philippe Sollers.
