The ‘Avenir Commun Durable – Energy, Environment, Society ’ initiative was launched in 2021 as a result of the determination of the professors at the Collège de France to take action in the face of the challenges posed by climate change. Their aim is to bring together their expertise, analyses and knowledge in order to unpack the challenges of the environmental and energy transition. History, mathematics, economics, physics, law, chemistry… The project, coordinated by Professor Jean-Marie Tarascon, seeks to break down the barriers between fields of expertise in order to grasp the full complexity of the challenges that lie ahead.
