Musique ! La Philarmonie au Collège de France 2025-2026

Cycle of meetings in partnership with the Cité de la musique - Philharmonie de Paris

The Collège de France has invited the Philharmonie de Paris to host a series of six encounters dedicated to music, free of charge and open to all. Conferences, masterclasses and round tables will welcome composers, artists and theorists alongside Collège de France professors for a series of exceptional events, from November 5 2025 to March 31 2026.

With, in order of participation : Rima Abdul-Malak, former Minister of Culture ; Olivier Mantei, General Director of the Cité de la musique-Philharmonie de Paris ; Pierre-Michel Menger, Professor at the Collège de France, holder of the Sociology of Creative Work Chair ; Thierry Escaich, organist and composer ; Pascal Dusapin, composer ; Netia Jones, director, set designer and video artist ; Carlo Ossola, professor emeritus at the Collège de France, holder of the Modern Literatures of Neolatin Europe chair ; Sonia Wieder-Atherton, cellist ; William Marx, professor at Collège de France, holder of the Comparative Literatures chair ; Gaëlle Choisne, visual artist ; Patrick Boucheron, professor at the Collège de France, holder of the History of Powers in Western Europe, 13th to16th century   ; Esa-Pekka Salonen, conductor and composer ; Christian Thompson, director of the Orchestre de Paris and the musicians of the Orchestre de Paris.
