Abstract

This course will explore the latest research on the effects of landscape structure on their multiple functions. After providing an abstract of the effects of landscape composition, it will focus on the most recent findings regarding the effects of spatial configuration on biodiversity and Ecosystems. Understanding these mechanisms enables us to design landscapes in a way that manages their multifunctionality and thus creates landscapes that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
